Their tasks are the information, implementation and promotion of education and participation (BuT), counselling services for pupils, parents and teachers as well as support in parent discussions.

They are neutral and act as mediators within the school. They offer support in family, school and personal matters, e. g. through mediation and accompaniment to other institutions (e. g. the paediatrician).

Of course, they are subject to data protection and an important and indispensable part of the primary school team due to their neutrality, empathy, appreciation, helpfulness and enthusiasm.
